“Inadequate phraseology,” coupled with a flight crew’s inability to understand an air traffic controller’s conversation in French with another crew, were responsible for a 2014 runway incursion at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, the French Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses (BEA) says.
